Date: 31 December 2012

Day 32
a vintage journey

Behind the scenes:
today marks the official last day of 2012
it was a rather fulfilling year i would say

highlights would be:
1) managed to fulfill one of my goals
that is to get my dive certification

2) managed to pull off a nation-wide photography event
with my 43rd management committee

3) managed to finish my 365 Grateful project
http://puddingpolaroid.blogspot.com/

4) managed to make new and awesome friends
mainly my 44th management committee

5) fell in love
with film photography
the results would be out tomorrow where i'll be collecting them from the photo store
*fingers crossed*

and i'll be printing out some postcards
featuring some of the photos i took and loved during my recent thailand trip
which will be delivered to some special people

a little digital peak preview

till the next post!

365 Faceless: Day 30

Date: 29 December 2012

Day 30
sparrows

Behind the scenes:
I've always wanted to do a photoshoot
with my yellow pinwheel

so when i brought it out today
i just couldn't get any concept right.

but my sis was wearing the sparrows earrings
i bought recently during my thailand trip
so it became the focus of today's shoot.

on the way back home from the shoot
we saw this handsome-looking dog

i called him triangles
as his white spots look like them

365 Faceless: Day 29

Date 28 December 2012

Day 29
film

Behind the scenes:
i wasn't feeling very expressive today
so i'm doing a faceless without any signs of human :P

when i woke up, there was this streaks of light
from the morning sun through my window binds

i immediately put the holga and films today
and tadah!

i've sent my bunch of films from thailand trip
for developing.
i'm expecting them in like 2 more days

hope they turn out great
*hands crossed*

oh!

Day 28
swimming strokes

Behind the scenes:
went swimming with my sis
well, i do that usually
but i decided to bring my camera along with me.

and i love some of the shots.
it's always unpredictable

whenever the camera is in the waterproof bag
it's very difficult to focus and compose
as you can't see from the small viewfinder.

due to jet lag

we went to my grandma's place
to see my second uncle
but he left when we pulled over to my gram's place

my second cousin sister just gave birth
and his name is Tristan.

so cute!

the lighting wasn't good

went out early with my mom and dad
thought to myself,
it was the last day in Hatyai
and i can do all the sleeping at home.

there's this marketplace in hatyai
where they sell mass vegetables and stuff
when we were there, there's was this huge water truck and the guy was doing a mass cleaning along the streets of the marketplace

Behind the scenes:
 we did a shopping spree

my mom was bargaining non-stop
and the shopping bags my dad was holding kept pilling by the minute

the place was crowded and stuffy.
if you are claustrophobic,
this is the place i wouldn't recommend.

but you can see it reflected

this day was the day we crossed koh lanta
to Hatyai.

and it was lovely
with the sea and mountains
