365 Faceless: Day 161

Day 161:

Behind the scenes:

went out with Hwee Woon and Kana 

for cafe-hopping at Tanjong Pagar!!

first stop:

Two Blur Guys

a neat burger joint

we shared two burgers

1) Smoked Salmon Avocado Burger

the milky taste of avocado just goes well with the smoked salmon

2) Portobello Mushroom Burger

i was surprised that i actually enjoyed it

it tasted like omelet especially with the margarine on the bread 

their store is pretty homey with brick walls

and their desserts placed on wooden blocks

making the feel of the food rather organic

Second pit stop:

Cake Spade

we had their signature toufu cheesecake

and their super delicious

double chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream

super cute cake shop!

the last stop was

Department of Caffeine

both Kana and i had Elderflower Lemonade 

while Hwee Woon had

some coffee (i'm personally not a fan of coffee) and Lavender Tea Cake

it was an awesome break

and cafe-hopping experience!

Day 136:

mEAT out

Behind the scenes:

it's been a while since the launch of montage

with finals drawing near

went out with Kenneth and Kana

for a random lunch date

after dropping our films to develop

we went to Fika at Millenia Walk

our main course was full of meat

which just melts in your mouth

who knew that meat taste really awesome with their jam

after the mains

we had desserts

Kana's carrot cake

Kenneth's apple crumble 

Kenneth immediately attacked his dessert

while Kana and I were shooting away

and i had the Swedish chocolate brownie 

had a blast spending time with today's company
