Day 109:

Eye-phone

Behind the scenes:

my sis just love eyes for some reason

it all started with an eye-ring present from her friend

and the addiction starts

i think she has like 3 or 4 eye rings

today she drew eyes on her fingers

because the lecture was boring

my sis's friend invited my sis and i

over to utown for dinner

and i borrowed the tilt-shift lens 

that canon generously lent NUSPS for publicity purposes

it was surprisingly difficult to handle 

but the effect is freaking awesome

the NUS 'D' bus service

a couple on the bus

had Cedele's cake 

Chocolate Spring Cake

one of the best things i love about U-Town

is the rainbow lights

i think it's global warming

i was home with three fans blowing from above, left and right

and i was still perspiring

Detoxification

my detoxification process is very simple:

go home.

it's the best remedy

whenever i'm home for the weekends

my parents will make veg-fruit juices

and made me eat plenty of fruits

Day 106:

breakfast at botak's

Behind the scenes:

there's this store that is awesome for it's fish dishes near my home

called "Botak"

i had been craving for their kway teow fish soup for weeks

and my family went there for breakfast today

can't stop myself from finishing the soup till the last drop

Date: 15 March 2013

Day 105:

dissection 

Behind the scenes:

had animal physio lab today

and we are suppose to test the presence of  sodium channels

in the frog's skin

so we had to have freshly killed frogs

so that the skin tissues are still fresh for the experiment

some groups went to another level and dissected the entire frog

maybe i haven't done dissection since secondary 3 bio class

i felt sick looking at the aftermath

Day 104:

late night with BnJs

Behind the scenes:

there was a surprising black-out in my hall today

at around 830pm

it was a good thing i had my laptop battery on 

as i was doing my assignment

when the event happen

it was really interesting

everyone got out of their rooms 

it's like burning an ant's nest and you see 

all the ants scurrying out of the hole

i got to see my neighbors for the first time

whom i had been sharing the level with for the entire year

the black-out happened for an hour

i had ice cream from yesterday in the freezer

so i decided to have a mini ice-cream party with some of my juniors

Day 103:

Late night with BnJ's

Behind the scenes:

had a field trip with my class today

to place called "Bollywood Vegies"

it's a pretty cool place

it was totally different from Singapore's

usual buildings landscape

like i stepped into a tame Jurassic Park

the guide for the day: Tony

gave interesting insights on the history of agriculture

after the hot tour

we were given drinks

Figs Tea

and some delicious cakes

including freshly-baked banana cake

the place is so homey

and i love one of the many quotes they put up
