Behind the scenes:

one of the thrilling thing about film photography

is that you never really know your outcome of the shots you took

(ok, maybe it is that way for a noob like me)

out of 36 exposures per film

i've only like 10 workable shots

though expensive

(with the buying and developing of film)

it is rather thrilling to see how sucky the outcome will be

and i love how the vintage film cameras look 

till the next post.

my first free day of the semester

i spent paying my slept debt

doing some CCA stuff

and ran in the evening.

Behind the scenes:

today marks the starting day of school

i had to move into my dorm

after the holidays

coming back to school 

is a total change of environment 

on the way to lecture

i was amongst a sea of blank stares

rushing to the next lecture destination

ooh noo... 

i feel all the inspiration draining out of me

at the end of the unpacking

there were boxes everywhere 

so i decided to make an exhausted emoticon

school is starting tomorrow!!!!

i have to pack my stuff 

moving to my dorm room tomorrow

Day 44:

into the bedroom

Behind the scenes:

went over to my grandma's place

to visit my little niece

she's getting cuter

(well, in my opinion)

she went to her bedroom

and picked up her mom's phone

and placed it on her ear and mimicked calling someone

on the way home

took some shots on the way there and going back home

Date: 10 January 2013

Day 42

drinking tea

Behind the scenes:

went cafe-hopping with Dhawani and Gowri today

it was a day filled with caffeine, sugar and endless laughter

first stop: Antoinette 

had tea and nougatine 

the orchid tea was surprisingly good

it was my second time eating Nougatine

and damn

it's still freaking awesome

we went around the Ann Siang Hill

there's this cute cake shop cum funky store

called Keiki Cake

unfortunately when we reached there

all the cakes were finished

walking down the road

i saw an adorable beetle 

Second stop: Shots.

it's a modern-looking coffee place

and i had affagato for the first time

had to pour tablespoons-ful of syrup to mask 60% of the the bitterness

tiramisu latte

they have instagram themed walls

which was pretty neat 

and i'm so happy

i mustered the courage 

(with the boost of Gowri and Dhawani) 

to go up to the barista to get a portrait

i just love the color her hair

and there's so much depth and character 

my shot of the day

we went to crash the lomo party

where there was a launch of an incoming Belair film camera

last stop: Le Chocolat Cafe

had their signature rainbow cake

and cheese pizza

the rainbow cake was sweet but rather one-directional taste

but it looks prettttyyyyy

it was a pretty awesome day

it's like a day of enjoyment

before the starting of school....
