Behind the scenes:
first day in koh lanta
it's a sleepy village
rather quiet and very near the sea!
below is my second best shot of the day.
i initially wanted this shot as the shot of the day
but the chosen shot has more meaning.
as the first official day here
we decided to explore the place
so we rented a taxi and went around
saw a very cute volkswagen
escape bar
my dad had coffee at the viewpoint
were you could see the panaromic view of the sea
we visited 'Old Town'
were i had the best kaya pancakes
the sweet lady vandor
gave us two extra pieces!
iced popsicles were sold there
credits to my first sis who took the above photo
and i stalked a woman from the market going to the jetty
my mom bought fresh crabs from the market
and asked one of the restaurant owner to cook for us,
it was divine!
that kinda sums up the morning.
in the afternoon
we thought we could go shopping.
boy, was i disappointed.
the things there were not cheap but looked rather good.
we had a pretty awesome lunch
